About Founder
👋 Meet Ajay Shelar, the driving force behind BaseCraft—a tech studio dedicated to helping startups build scalable, high-impact products from day one.
With years of experience as a founding software engineer and startup tech lead, Ajay has played a pivotal role in building and scaling early-stage companies across multiple industries.
He was among the first engineers at Apna, where he helped shape its technology and infrastructure, contributing to its growth into a unicorn startup. Prior to that, he worked at BharatAgri, developing tech-driven solutions for the agritech sector, and at Apollo Finvest, where he led the development of a SaaS-based Loan Management platform, helping scale revenue by 5x through serverless and scalable architecture.
With deep expertise in MVP development, scalable systems, and cloud technologies, Ajay has worked hands-on with fintech, hiring platforms, agritech, and SaaS startups, helping them validate ideas, build robust products, and scale efficiently.
